Romance At The Home Depot…

There are some things in life that are unexpected and out of our control, like falling in love with a guy named Bernie who works at Home Depot in the lumber department. Yes, you read that right, I fell in love with Bernie, the Home Depot lumber guy.

It all started when I was browsing the lumber section, looking for some wood to build a new bookshelf. I was lost in thought when I heard a voice behind me say, "Hey, do you need any help with that?" I turned around and there he was, Bernie, the lumber guy.

HThe Home Depot Lumber Ile!

Bernie was wearing a bright orange Home Depot apron and had sawdust in his hair, but there was something about him that caught my attention. Maybe it was his charming smile or his kind eyes, but I felt something stir inside me.

We started talking about the different types of wood and he showed me some samples. I must admit, I didn't know much about lumber, but Bernie was patient and explained everything to me in a way that even I could understand. As we talked, I couldn't help but feel a connection between us.

After selecting the perfect wood for my bookshelf, Bernie offered to help me cut it to the right size. We worked together, measuring and sawing, and I couldn't believe how easy it was to talk to him. Bernie was funny, kind and had a great sense of humor. He even made a few jokes about how he could build me a whole house if I wanted!

As we finished up, Bernie asked me if I wanted to grab a coffee with him sometime. I was surprised, but also excited. I said yes, and we exchanged numbers. We started texting and talking on the phone, and I found myself looking forward to every conversation with him.

Our first date was at a local coffee shop, and it was amazing. Bernie was such a gentleman, holding the door open for me and even paying for my coffee. We talked for hours, about everything from our favorite movies to our dreams for the future. It was like we had known each other for years.

From that day on, we were inseparable. Bernie would come over to my place and help me with DIY projects, and we would go on long walks in the park. He even taught me how to use a power drill! I never thought falling in love with a Home Depot employee would be so much fun.

Now, Bernie and I have been dating for a few months, and I can honestly say that he's the best thing that ever happened to me. He's my partner in crime, my DIY buddy, and my soulmate. And whenever we're in Home Depot, we always make sure to stop by the lumber department and say hi to Bernie's coworkers. After all, that's where it all began.

This is a great story but I know a guy named Bernie that works at the home depot and he's a bit of a dick. The one I know wouldn't help you if you were the last customer on earth. Not all HD associates are bad - Just some of the Bernies. ;)

Carlos Says:
I don't know about this Bernie guy but I have been dating a woman that works at the Home depot for years. I met her in the flooring department where she helped me choosing some hardwood flooring. I think it's the orange apron that makes the home depot staff so lovable.

Monica Says:
I find that the men are a lot more attractive and helpful at the Lowes hardware store. The Home depot men are all a bunch of wimps and none of them are good lovers.

Harry Says:
This heartwarming tale reminds me that love can bloom even in the most unexpected places, like the aisles of a Home Depot. It's a beautiful testament to the power of connection and finding companionship in the most mundane of places. Even amidst the displays of power tools and the scent of fresh paint.

Bonnie Says:
Oh, who knew that Home Depot was the ultimate hotspot for romance? Forget fancy restaurants or picturesque landscapes, nothing screams love like shopping for hardware and gardening tools. I'm sure their love story will be featured in the next edition of "DIY Romance Magazine." LOL

Constance Says:
Does anyone know if The Depot is hiring? I would love to work there and with the odds of meeting a guy who is handy (and handsome) is a huge bonus. I would prefer to work in the kitchen design area but lumber would do.

Harriet Says:
I read that the "Home Depot" might be a good place to meet a girlfriend, depending on what you are looking for. According to the article I read, some single women are going to Home Depot to look for "husband material" among the men who shop there. They hope to find someone who shares their interest in home improvement and DIY projects, or someone who can help them with their own projects.

Lee Says:
The Home Depot is a great place to meet a guy. I like to find a good looking fella and saunter over and ask for their opinion or advice on a product or project you are working on. For example, you could say "Excuse me, do you know which drill bit is best for wood?" or "Hi, I'm looking for a paint color for my living room. What do you think of this one?". You just can't go wrong :)

As a Canadian, I think we should all be going to Rona for our lumber and hardware supplies. Those other guys don't invest in Canada nearly as much as Rona does. And the guys there are cute too!
